Village Life Mihinthale

Siamo stati tre giorni presso Village Life Mihintale, ci ha accolto una famiglia amorevole e premurosa. La struttura è molto pulita, la colazione e le cene sono deliziose. Consigliamo questo posto a chi ama la natura e la tranquillità, ottima base per visitare i templi e le rovine di Mihintale, fuori dal caos cittadino e vicino ad un bel lago artificiale.

Stanza un po' piccola,manca una zona per rilassarsi in giardino con magari qualche amaca o sdraio

I had an incredible stay. They made me feel like part of the the Family. I was here for Poson Poya and they took me into town. Showed me around and explained what to do. The breakfast and dinner was incredible! This has been a massive highlight of my trip. Nothing was to much effort and everyone was incredibly friendly. Worth a visit!

Wonderful family with the son Gihan as the one who could speak English and helped a lot also with our trip to get there. He arranged TukTuks and guides for the sightseeings and gave us a lot of good advice. He also ordered a car for our further travel. The place is wonderful with a huge garden and a private terrace. Also the meals: Just wonderful and prepared with so much love by the host family, partly with products from their own garden. There is a kettle and a little fridge (with minibar), which was very useful. We could also rent 2 bikes to explore the area and go to the lake with a hidden temple, where a welcoming monk showed us around. The warmth and hospitality of this peaceful place were overwhelming. We came as strangers and left as friends. I would always go there again. Highly recommed it if would like a peaceful place close to nature and meet a very sweet and helpful family!
