Very nice apartment, clean and good space for two persons. Easy access to all of Antibes restaurants and shops, short walk to beaches. Overall a good choice.

Once we finally got in, the elevator was great to transport luggage and the building was very secure.

The location description for this apartment made it difficult to find, even for our taxi driver. It has a street address but the entrance is not ON the street. The building entrance is between two restaurant patios situated on a "place"--(Place des Martyrs de la Resistance), and the street address given, borders one side of this "place". The taxi left us and our luggage at the end of the street as he couldn't get any closer - street barriers and taxis didn't have a license to enter. Be prepared to drag bags across cobblestone to get to the front door. When I had trouble with the lockbox, or wondered what floor the apartment was on, I was simply told other guests 'found it easy' and everything was 'in the video'... When travelling from another country for hours, exhausted and unsure, the last thing one needs to do is review a video to find which elevator button to push to get 'home'. How hard is it to have someone onsite to assist if a traveller seems to be experiencing confusion. When we had difficulty we had to stand and wait, with tons of luggage, for someone to answer a WhatsApp question.... I found it insensitive to a traveller's needs. Honestly. The first thing we had to do upon entrance was use the toilet and wash our hands. ONE roll of toilet paper, and no bathroom hand soap left by the sink - and no visible towels. We had to search with wet hands to find our towels, which were in a closet in the bedroom. And super dingy looking. Someone washed towels with something black I guess. If this was MY rental suite, and my cleaner left it like this - they'd be fired. Bare bones inside - no 'welcome' note or basket or anything. And the shower is WAY too small for anyone of any size. My husband at 6'2" and could barely fit or turn around inside. No bath gel or shampoo on site until we asked about it and it showed up the next day.

Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, neue Installation erst ende Juli. Vorab kein Hinweis darauf. Geschirrspüler defekt, wurde zeitnah ersetzt. TV Fernbedienung mit leeren Batterien bei Ankunft. Schiebetüre Kleiderschrank blockiert. Schimmelflecken auf Duvet. All diese Mängel stellten wir bei unserer Ankunft fest. Es folgten div Wattsapp mit Host. Sie erklärte, alles sei kontrolliert worden. ??? Diese Mängel wären festgestellt worden, würde es der Wahrheit entsprechen. Nach dem Ärger wurde schlussendlich Techniker vorbeigeschickt und die Mängel behoben. Der neue Geschirrspüler wurde beim Einbau nicht wie abgemacht auf Funktionsfähigkeit geprüft. Der Techniker musste anschl nochmals kommen, da Wasserzufuhr nicht wieder hergestellt wurde und kein Glanzspüler und Salz eingefüllt wurde, wie bei einem neuen Gerät üblich.
