Barbati Beach - Villa Lefkada

Close to beach, clean pool, area not overly commercialised

Could of had outside shower, more cutlery needed, no instructions like which bin was which and when emptied, main bedroom needed a couple more drawers and bathrooms need a shelf to put toiletries on.

Good sized pool. Villa is well equipped the location is good, across the road from the supermarket and bus stop and a few minutes walk from the beach. There are some nice restaurants too or you can take the bus into Pyrgi where there is a promenade and a bit more lively, taxis back are expensive given the distance.

We stayed for 10 nights and the property was only serviced once, there was only one set of towels and pool towels, another set would be better as we had to wash them in between service. Bus service isn’t great (1 ever 2-3 hours) and a later bus back would be ideal. Not the Villas fault but the getting around the resort is difficult, there is one main road that runs through it with no pavement so walking too and from restaurants and markets can be tricky. Whilst the markets are well stocked and friendly, they are overpriced compared to the bigger resorts - same with the restaurants, there are a couple of cafes but no ‘real cheap’ eats.
