Villa Palmier

De tuin was prachtig aangelegd (je zit vrij), en het zwembad was goed onderhouden (incl tuinman), plus de ligging aan de zee; geweldig! We kregen zelfs halverwege de week nog housekeeping incl handdoekenwissel (ik had ze net in de wasmachine gedaan, oeps) Koelkast met de eerste benodigdheden en fruit! Top!

Het verblijf was op het oog netjes, echter vonden wij het sanitair (beide badkamers ) gedateerd. En met huisstofmijt allergie zijn de bedden te stoffig 😬

Locatie aproape de mare, piscina curata si intretinuta.Sezlonguri la piscina. Vila bine utilata si curata. Se schimba prosoapele in functie de perioada. Gradina frumoasa si mobilier de gradina.

Great location, lovely garden area and very clean.

The villa is absolutely lovely and so close to the beach with loads of beach bars. Sunday was a great surprise with each bar having their own DJ… the one we decided to chill out in has some really cool vibes. It’s also close to a number of supermarkets (the closest is the most expensive to best move on to the next ones) and restaurants. They’re all on the main road so a bit of a trek up the hill or a short trip in a car. The pool was amazing too, as was the internal communal space! The bedroom decor has been updated since the photos on Booking, so that was a lovely surprise.

Like others have said, be aware of the mozzies… prepare to come with the maximum repellent you can find. They wouldn’t put us off booking again as we’d be more prepared next time. Another small issue is the size of the two bathrooms… the villa is huge but the bathrooms are so small. Also, the shower curtains are a bit rubbish. Perhaps the owner could install shower screens instead. Lastly, our bugbear (which could be easily solved) was the electricity. Like a hotel, you have to put the key fob in a slot. However, if you then need to lock or unlock a door, all the electric in the villa goes off as you have to take the fob out of the slot. Ok, not such a big deal, but the wifi then takes around ten minutes to set itself up, which is super annoying. Perhaps the owners could put the router on the same ring as the fridge freezer, which remained on at all times. These are really just minor things so please don’t be put off booking.
