Relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.

We had such a lovely weekend stay. Room was clean, tidy with everything you need plus a beautiful private swimming pool with a stunning sea view - super relaxing.

It was classically modern, in a beautiful part of Corfu. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the showers were wonderful! The outdoor plunge pool was an added bonus with lovely views. Close to amenities. The owner clearly takes pride in the apartments and really cares. She was very accommodating and friendly.

It was a little snug. There are 3 double beds, although the third was a mattress on the floor in a mezzanine. However, we were a family of 4 and only needed to stay for one night. So, for that, it was fine.

We were pleasantly surprised by the small gift 🙂 The location is peaceful and beautiful. It’s a great spot to relax, and we especially appreciated the privacy the apartment offered. Having a car is definitely helpful for exploring the surrounding area and Corfu as well. Overall, a perfect place and I can highly recommend to visit 🙂

Apartment with nice spacious balcony overlooking the sea.

Rented the double bedroom apartment with a large terrace. The balcony is wonderful. The airconditioning worked very well and was quiet at night. New kitchen has been placed which was nice. Across the street is a great bar which has access to a beach.

Apartment is on a busy road which is noisy. During the day and night you hear many cars, motorcycles and trucks go by. Bed mattresses were not comfortable.

"Amazing stay right by the sea!"

I had a wonderful time staying at this apartment! The location is absolutely perfect – just a few steps from the sea, with beautiful views and the relaxing sound of the waves. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the coast!

Lovely place to stay

We stayed at this place for a week. First of all, the hostess sent clear coordinates on how to get to the place, so we found it without any problems. There was very good communication and all our questions were answered before arrival. What is important on this island, it is that the apartments have a convenient parking space, since we traveled by car. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very kind and professional hostess, showed us the apartments, gave us a welcome gift, which was nice. Yes, as we saw in the comments, the apartments are uphill, but the access here is very good, we had no problems walking and in 10 minutes you can reach the main beach of Barbati, but for those who have difficulty walking, it is perfectly accessible by car, there is a large parking lot on the beach. The apartments have a kitchen, with all the equipment, and you can buy groceries at the Market located 2 minutes from the apartments. The apartments themselves are small, but everything is perfectly designed. There are well-functioning, powerful showers, air conditioning for those who need it. Comfortable bed. We simply fell in love with the terrace. It overlooks the sea and the coast in the distance. Depending on the season, we saw lemon trees with yellow lemons on them. The cleanliness of the apartments is amazing. When we went out, after returning we always found a very clean room, clean towels, clean bed sheets. All cleaning was done imperceptibly so as not to disturb. The hosts themselves live nearby, but they really respect privacy, although if you need anything, they are always there. We are grateful to the hosts, because their contribution made the vacation even more memorable. We traveled all around the island, didnt see any better places to stay in this price category. Also, though the location is close to main street, in the apartment area its silent and peacful.

A bold idea - only recently completed. Although unusual, a lot of thought was put into the design, hinging mainly on the personal pool and the view across the bay.

The concept works great for us - we had complete privacy. The apartments below us don’t benefit from that privacy.

Shocking and dilapidated and the pictures on Booking are incorrect

It was very bad and shocking. The owner’s behavior was unprofessional. Before I arrived at the apartment and while I was trying to find out the address, he told me that I had to pay the city tax???? He couldn't wait!! The apartment is in a very poor condition and the pictures on Booking do not represent reality at all

In the evening, I sent to the owner my comment about the difference between the pictures on the Booking website and reality! When I woke up in the morning, the cleaning lady came to me and started shouting at me and pushing me out of the apartment and saying that I caused her to be fired !! What does my writing to the owner have to do with my opinion of her work!! ?? The bathroom comes out with a bad smell!! The furniture and kitchen are dilapidated and very bad. The whole place is a real shock. The apartment is on a hill and the stairs are dilapidated and slippery.

Awesome apartment, just like in the pictures but better, because everything is totally brand new and functional. The view is great, eating outside in the pool area is the best. Maria is the sweetest grandmother and helps out a lot, very hospitable and discrete at the same time, having a helping hand who takes care of the garbage and brings what you need without even asking makes a huge difference in vacation! The bus station for Ipsos, Corfu and Kassiopi is immediately near the house and there are markets and restaurants too. There is a lot of space for a secure and private parking spot too, so having a car that you can rent near the airport for a cheap price it’s the best choice. everything worked out for the best!

Very noisy location, bars across the road, which sometimes work until half past three at night. Because of this, it is impossible to sleep even with the windows and doors closed.

Very good value for money, especially for young people who want to explore the island.

The apartment is very spacious. We especially liked the high ceilings. It was an interesting blend of old and new. The terrace was absolutely beautiful, the view to the sea is stunning. If you sleep in the room nearest to the terrace, you can see the sea from your bed.

The kitchen was a little bit old (furniture, plates, etc.), But it wasn't a major problem for us. If I would improve the apartment, this is where I would start. Also, the building is very close to some bars that stay open until 1-2 am, so the noise might be a problem for somebody who prefers something quieter. For us it was a minor inconvenient.

Great stay, you can watch the view from balcony all day!

Maria was a great host, she and her husband met us at entrance and showed an apartment. It had everything we needed, the kitchen could use a renewal but it was still fully functional. The view from balcony is absolutely beautiful. On the other side of the road, when you go through Skala Bar, there is a small, charming beach.

A mosquito net on balcony door would be a nice add-on, as there was a lot of mosquitos. Also, bars on the other side of the road play music in the evening, but it's not too loud, so you can easily sleep if you want to go to sleep early and they turn it off around 11 pm.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. María, the owner, was really friendly despite we could not communicate (we don't speak Greek, she does not speaks English)

The village, Barbati, is 100% made for tourists, even the markets have tripled the prices. If I would have known the area before hand, I wouldn't have gone there. However, the studio was good.

The view

There was no parking lot, despite that it is mentioned in the description of the property, that is misleading the customers! The staff from taverna Akrogiali told us that we can park Infront of the house but the lady which welcomed us and maybe was the landlord refused to park there and proposed to park next to the street which was around 100metres away from the house! That was a big confusion and inconvenience for us, because we have paid for apartment which has a private parking! The bed mattress and the pillows were not comfortable, there were some very dirty spots in the kitchen and there was no holder for the shower in the bathroom, which is very uncomfortable!
