About this house rental
Nestled on a cliff with breathtaking views of the main lake, this charming retreat offers a perfect escape. The multi-story boat house faces West, providing you with beautiful sunsets every night.
Main House:
Main Level: Spacious kitchen, living room, full bathroom, and two cozy bedrooms (King and Queen beds).
Third Level: Private Master bedroom (Queen bed) with an en-suite full bathroom.
Basement: A roomy living area, a separate bedroom with 3 bunk beds, a full bathroom, and a laundry room for your convenience.
Boat House:
The multi-story boat house features a lovely deck, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the picturesque sunsets. Located near Poplar Creek and Holly Grove, you’ll have easy access to dining, boat ramps, and gas stations.
Though the property has a North Carolina mailing address, it is located on the Virginia side of the lake.
Outdoor Amenities:
Volleyball/Badminton net available for use.
A prime location for fishing, especially for catfish and largemouth bass during the morning and late afternoon/evening. While I’m not a fisherman, the cliffside offers a highly coveted fishing spot.
Additional Information:
This is one of the few West-facing main lake properties with unobstructed sunset views.
No pets are allowed unless it is an assistance animal or cleared in advance with the host.
I do not rent to groups primarily made up of individuals aged 16-25 or to large groups of unrelated individuals. No parties allowed.
A one-week stay is required during peak season, but I am flexible with this if there are openings between other guests' stays of less than a week. Please contact me for more details.

We enjoyed our visit, would like to book other lake homes in this area with this particular owner, a larger home if possible for additional family members who are interested in experiencing lake life in this area.

We had a wonderful stay. Tom was very responsive with any issues that came up. The kids loved the dock and jumped from the top nonstop.
