About this house rental
Newly renovated vacation home on the outskirts of town with a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, outdoor solar-heated shower, indoor fireplace, outdoor fireplace/grill, and a large, Mediterranean-style, dog-friendly garden.
The vacation home features two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a separate toilet. There is a living room with a fireplace and a piano, as well as an open-concept kitchen. One bedroom and the living room are equipped with air conditioning. The windows in the bedrooms are fitted with fly screens.
There are two terraces with seating and a sun umbrella. The property features a carport with 2 parking spaces as well as a wallbox for charging electric vehicles.
A ping-pong table is available outdoors.
The house, garden, pool, hot tub, and sauna are available for exclusive use.
Access to the vacation home is via a paved road that is a dead end. Therefore, there is no through traffic.
The rear of the property is bordered by a densely vegetated single-track railroad embankment, along which a small freight train passes once a day (on weekdays) at a slow speed.
The vacation home is located in a tourist-friendly area. The medieval town center of Castillon du Gard is approximately 2.5 km away. There are several restaurants there. Within walking distance of the vacation home, there is a bakery and an opportunity for wine testing.
The Pont du Gard can be reached in just a few minutes by car or bicycle. There are also beautiful hiking trails. The Gardon River is ideal for swimming and paddling. The medieval cities of Avignon, Nîmes, and Uzès are all within easy reach. The Camargue and the Mediterranean Sea are about a 60-minute drive away.
