Work from home office with large desk and view of back yard.
The kitchen has a gas stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee maker and blender. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Wifi. Washer/dryer. Central air/heat. Driveway and street parking.
Easy walking, biking, busing and driving downtown, Convention Center, South Congress, Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail, museums, the art studios of the Eastside and UT, the University of Texas. Tons of delicious Eastside/central restaurants and some of the best food trailers in Austin all within walking distance: Indian, Mexican, Cajun, gourmet sandwiches, Asian fusion, fish and chips, vegan delicacies and Thai favorites.
This is a great place for a family or small group of friends to use as a base camp to explore Austin. So many truly Austin-y places close by, then a cozy, comfortable home to rest in. Plenty of pecan trees offer meditative sky-staring opportunities on the back deck.
The guests will have access to the whole house and backyard.
I like to give my guests space, but am available when needed, just send me a message through AirBnb for questions/concerns/recommendations!
Great family neighborhood with an eclectic mix of 1930s and 1940s bungalows with more modern sustainable architecture. Right at the foot of downtown and beautiful hike/bike trail along the lake, leading right to the Congress Ave bridge.
Buses go frequently down Cesar Chavez to downtown, rideshares plentifully available, and there are tons of scooters and city bike rental stations a few blocks away and many, many cool places within walking distance.
There is no smoking anywhere in the house. No cats (due to allergies) but dogs will be considered on a dog-by-dog basis. Other than that, I expect that my home and belongings to be treated with respect - just like you already would.
Probably not needed, but just in case, a few extras:
Parties and Extra Overnight Guests are Strictly Prohibited
Please Do Not Sleep On or Move Furniture
Quiet After 10:00 P.M. (Respect Residential Neighbors)
Most of the time I can be flexible with check in and check out times - just ask.
