Top house on other house rental platforms! This house is in the center of all the best Austin destinations! Just two blocks from the river and hike and bike trail, enjoy a morning run to coffee, a 10-minute walk to Rainey Street for brunch and live music, or East Cesar Chavez to enjoy the eclectic "come as you are" vibes and some of the best local hangouts. A cowhide rug, wall-mounted skull, and lone star decor set the scene at this cozy pad just 2 blocks from the river. Downtown, Congress, and Convention Center are within minutes drive, or crack open a cold one and gather around the fire pit or the grill in the private yard.

We came into Austin for my husbands 40th birthday with my in laws. This house was in a great location, walkable to the river and a short drive to get downtown. It was smaller than expected, but it worked for our needs. Downsides: super low water pressure for showers, gets really warm especially at night, and there were so many mosquitos outside without any bug spray or citronella candles provided. Other than that it was a great stay!

House was clean and easy to get to. It is in neighborhood that is being re-developed, but it was safe and close enough to stuff that walking was not an issue.
