Whiskey Creek Cottage is located in the Silver Lake area right on Lake Michigan and just steps down to the private beach frontage. This Private Lake Michigan frontage vacation rental provides a peaceful setting for your entire family. There are two homes on the property, a Lake Front home and the guest home which sits behind the Lake Front home. This rental includes both homes and can occupy 18 guests. This vacation home is minutes away from all of your favorite things to do!
A total of 7 bedrooms, 4 in the front home and 3 in the back home. The lake front home features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom features a queen bed, bedroom #3 has a twin bed and bedroom #4 has two twins over full bunk beds. There is also a TV in the bunk room for entertainment and a large deck with gas grill for beautiful views of the lake. The back home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed with full bath connected bedroom #2 has two twin beds and bedroom #3 has a queen bed. There is also a sleeper sofa on the porch of the second cottage for additional sleeping! There are 70 steps down to the beach. This property does not have air conditioning. This is a pet friendly home!
Silver Lake is located in Mears, Michigan and offers shorelines along Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. While vacationing here you won't want to miss out on the experiences that the massive Silver Lake Sand Dunes have to offer. Rent a jeep of your own or head over to Mac Wood's Dune Rides for an adventurous ride on the sand dunes. Everything about this property is great! So close to the beach, cozy, rustic atmosphere, tons is space for large gatherings. Only downside is the internet is very slow and there’s almost no cell reception for Verizon, but I’m staying at the beach to unplug, not stream movies, so it was great.

I appreciate an honest description! This home exceeded our expectations. The pictures were spot on and did not make the home look larger than it was. It might even be roomier! Good advice to bring fans even though our weather was perfect it was nice for sleeping. We loved the separate homes for our large family giving us plenty of room. The grill was the only thing that didn’t work.

Nice lakeview house hidden under trees. It has everything for comfortable stay, clean and very nice looking. Big deck with grill and table and enought chairs to stay outside. Lots of parking. Stairs to the beach adds some fitness activies to that long weekend lazy time. And as usual lake Michigan is awesome.
We will be back for sure!
