Algarve-based design ensemble studioarte has merged Arabic ornamentation with whitewashed geometry in this sophisticated coastal sanctuary. Completely reconstructed across two levels, the traditional façade showcases patterned screen entries that would look at home in India, Andalusia, or Isfahan. The stout, cubic villa hides contemporary furnishings in neutral, tactile upholsteries, graphic rugs, designer lighting, and a courtyard terrace with a kitchen, alfresco dining zone, plunge pool, and fat sunbeds.
