They don’t change sheets or towels

The staff generally was delightful, with the minor exception of one..who was by no means rude or anything but didn’t speak much which left us feeling a little odd. The breakfast was lovely and all round we loved the atmosphere of the place.

The aircon kept getting switched off so we would have to physically go and switch it on at reception area, but also the evening reception representative did not speak… very minimal which made it quite uncomfortable when we encountered him.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Aegli. The owners were very friendly and helpful throughout. The location is perfect – just a few minutes from the harbor and street food, yet in a quiet, car-free area with a stunning view over the town and port. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice east-facing balcony that had morning sun and evening shade – ideal for relaxing. Bathroom on suites. Good value for money.

Only downside was that the breakfast coffee felt a bit weak :-)

Petit déjeuner complet et bon; ca nous soutenait pour la journée jusqu’au repas du soir. Localisation parfaite et centrale; tout se visite à pied. Bus à proximité pour aller aux plages de l’île. Hébergement tres propre. Lits confortables.

Nous ne savions pas qu’il fallait tourner la poignée de la porte balcon pour la barrer afin que la clim fonctionne. Malgré mes plaintes répétées on nous a fait penser à ce détail seulement avant la dernière nuit. Nous avons donc eu 2 nuits sur 3 bruyantes car bruits de véhicules de la ville jusqu’au milieu de la nuit car porte balcon ouverte pour avoir de l’air. Douche tres petite avec un rideau seulement donc l’eau sort sur le plancher. Nous avions reserve une chambre double deluxe mais a notre arrivée il n’y en avait pas. On nous a donné une petite chambre avec lits jumeaux pour nous changer de chambre le lendemain.
