Beautiful place

The house felt like home. Modern salon but with the fireplace made it really cosy. Nice spacious kitchen, large bathroom which I loved. Bedrooms had everything I needed. I was able to take my dog with me with no problems. And the view on the mountains, just amazing ☺️

Wasn’t and issue for us but for some it may be an issue to get luggage from the car park to the house - downhill fine but uphill bit trickier!

Great property in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We came for the weekend to visit zip world for my sons birthday which was only a few minutes from the properly. We also hired electric bikes out the next day and spent the day riding around the surrounding towns which was a great experience. The house was lovely and cosy with everything you needed, was immaculate and the hosts were really helpful. The high street had a local pub and some nice little takeaways, It was like home from home and we didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful stay 10/10.

Overall, No 4 John Street is a fantastic base for exploring North Wales, and we’d happily return!

We had a wonderful stay at No 4 John Street in Bethesda. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated, and surprisingly spacious for a two-bedroom property. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bunk room was perfect for kids or extra guests. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, and the private check-in made arrival smooth and hassle-free. The location is ideal—quiet yet central, with easy access to Snowdonia’s hiking trails and local attractions like Bangor Cathedral and Beaumaris Castle. The garden view added a lovely touch of greenery, and having free Wi-Fi throughout was a bonus.

If I had to mention one downside, it would be the limited parking options nearby. While we managed fine, it could be a bit tricky during busier periods or for larger vehicles.

The only very small inconvenience was the short walk to the parking location a free car park near by.

The location was great for Zip World - 20 minute walk and a 7 minute drive to Bangor. The property was very clean, very modern and had everything you needed...and more for a 3 night stay. I loved looking out of the window at the mountains and would stop again in a heartbeat.

There were no instructions to use the TV, which was complicated.

Beautiful home, ideal for a Zip World experience.

It was in a lovely position to view Snowden. Dog friendly. Comfortable beds with a full bathroom.

The Tv was a pain, the owner came round but it needs a few apps downloaded & tweaking. Not sure if this is normal for the area ! Needs some hooks behind doors, for dressing gowns etc Nothing major .

Clean, tidy and comfortable close to ogwen valley and zip wire and other scenic points

Location was great, close to slate mining and world's fastest zip wire. At is at the end of Ogwen valley. and close to costal towns too. Not far from all scenic points. Very clean , tidy and comfortable house , it is newly built like. Every facilities are very new. I suggest everyone to rent this house particularly family of four with two kids or couple or 4 individuals. I should Thanks you to the owner of the house.

Booked this property as we were visiting zip world , so glad we did, It was perfect. Comfortable and clean. Lovely local walks. Fantastic as a base. No problem parking.

Nice house.

Roomy and modern. All good. Only downside was having to carry baggage up and down from carpark, would be awkward for someone with a lot of stuff.
