My family had booked the zipworld experience which is an easy 20 minute drive from the property. We had no other plans f

The property is a beautiful, spacious home in a wonderful location. The outdoor space at the rear of the property was perfect for eating meals in the sunshine. The kitchen had everything that was needed to prepare meals at the house, the bedrooms were good sizes and comfortable. The property had a large selection of games and films which was greatly appreciated, along with a detailed booklet put together by the hosts which contained all the information we needed. The host was prompt and kind when answering any questions before our arrival & departure. The property was clean, tidy and perfect for our family getaway!

What a lovely home!

The host was really helpful, we had to text her on a couple of occasions and she was really responsive and welcoming. The house itself was amazing, we loved how close it was to all amenities and how quiet the area is.

The plugs in the rooms were a bit out of the way, but apart from that, it was a lovely house and we had a great time!

Superb location. Everything you need. Lots of indoor space for family.

It’s location and proportions. A family of 6 adults - we all managed to get along without any real compromise. An en-suite up stairs (top floor) would of been a bonus. We all slept well which is the most important aspect for us . The actual house is stunning and one can imagine it decades ago. Original features where lovely.

The pictures make it look quite luxurious and top quality but the reality is different . Everything is functional but you notice straight away that it’s not what you expected. The shower doors don’t meet exactly and my husband had to fix the shower heads. All trivial really and it’s all about expectations - maybe I’m getting fussy in my old age.

On the plus side the beds were comfy and made up very nicely. The bathroom was spotless. Wifi worked well.

There was a bad smell in the kitchen / ground floor - seemed damp. Electrical sockets were ancient and generally the property looks like it needs investment. Not really suitable for the elderly due to steep steps.

Beautiful home away from home

Location fantastic, we always stay in Menai as so close to so many fantastic places. Amenities of the accommodation were great you could actually live in this house quite happily. Don’t really want to give this good review as I’d like to keep it a secret!
