The Eight 8 Hongdae

Love the cleanliness, 8 mins walk to 2 subways (it’s in the middle of two subway stations), very suitable for big groups as they have two toilets with bidet! Each room had dressing tables for the girlies and clothes rack. It really shows the thoughts put into furnishing the rooms for travellers. The living room sofa is so big, long & comfortable that it doubles up as a bed as well! Room 1 & 2 had one queen double bed each, while room 3 with attached toilet has one queen double bed AND a super single bed. 3 adults took room 1 & 2 while my three kids aged 14, 12, and 11, took room 3 (the one with 2 beds and toilet) The arrangements were perfect for us and we really enjoyed the facilities. There was a drinking water machine that catered to our need for hot water, cold water AND room temperature water. Just amazing. All crockery and utensils were provided and the microwave was very useful for us. There is also a very big refrigerator with freezer that helped kept fresh the keto bakes that we brought there :). We felt very safe and secure as the place had digital password required before entering the lift. And a digital lock to enter the apartment. We even tried ordering food delivery and got our food outside our door with no issues! Most of all the host was really friendly and contactable throughout the days of our trip and able to chat in English with no language barrier! Just a tip for travelers: As there were six of us, booking a minivan was worthwhile for us as airport limousine was KWR 14k PER PAX. No hassle to navigate the roads that way. NAVER MAPS is the way to go. This place is approx 15 - 20mins to Hongdae shopping street by bus which is perfect for us!

For those sensitive to light when sleeping, eyeshades are necessary as the curtains are not blackout.
