Waterfront Villa Magnolia

The location of this house is phenomenal. The water is perfect and just a few meters across the little street. We swam every day many times. We had 8 adults and 1 child. We all slept well, and enjoyed every minute. The decorations in the house are very interesting. Beds are comfortable. Air conditioning works great. The turtles are sweet and the child loved feeding them lettuce. It is about a 15 minute walk to Old town Kotor, but still distant enough from all the cruise ship tourists. It felt like we were in a true Montenegrin atmosphere. I must say that this was the perfect place for my big birthday, with friends and family. The refrigerator is big. There is a washer and dryer. The backyard is big, and we hung out the clothes to dry out there. Ksenija gave us plenty of towels and made the stay comfortable. Spacious living room. Lovely front enclosed terrace, great for sitting outside for a meal. They have beach chairs. Plenty of light, and spacious everywhere. Lavazza coffee machine was good, and she left coffee for us.

The kitchen stove is small, only two burners, so not really a place to cook large meals. We made spaghetti for the 9 of us, and that was fine. Paying with cash is kind of a hassle, especially with Euros since I came directly from the USA, so I had to take out cash near the bus station. The bottom floor shower drain backs up, and there is the foul smell. The bottom floor shower is not great. The salad spinner was missing the bottom. We could have used a grater, so there could be more utensils in the kitchen. Knives were not sharp. But again, I expect people will mostly go out for meals.

Excellent location! All the shops and bakery nearby. 20minutes walk and you are in the historic center. Beautiful cafes nearby the sea are close. The beach is almost at your door. The host Xenia is extremely helpful and friendly, she booked us a great boat tour. I would love to come back!

Beautiful unique old home. A very unique place to stay. The location is amazing. The manager was helpful for anything we needed.

The hot water was not enough for a house this size but everything else was good.

מיקום טוב (על שפת המפרץ. בערך 15 דקות הליכה מהעיר העתיקה). בית גדול עם הרבה חדרים, מיטות וחדרי רחצה.

לטוב ולרע זה בית של מישהו אז יש בו הרבה אווירה (תמונות, ריהוט וכו׳) להבדיל ממקום אחרים שהם יותר סטריליים ואנונימיים. בסך הכל לא ממש נקודה רעה. הניווט ליעד קצת בעייתי בגלל שגוגל מנסה להפנות דרך רחוב חד סיטרי נגד כיוון התנועה. אבל את זה לומדים אחרי סיבוב אחד.
