Very quirky, the bath was amazing, lovely warm comfortable room , perfect location to walk into Matlock

The decor was nice & bed & bedding very comfortable. We stayed in winter and the room was lovely and warm. The bath was great too once we got used to it being in the bedroom! A lot of thought had gone into making sure guests had everything needed to be comfortable.
When we first arrived I was shocked that it was only one room and not an apartment. There is a little table outside but other than that nowhere to eat if you were planning to eat in - there is a microwave for cooking but no kitchen.

The hosts were very responsive and from the space available in this very small room, have provided lovely comforts, a very cosy space: delightful furnishings. Lovely sheets and bed, and a claw bathtub. The information in the books on the shelf in the toilet were interesting and useful. The buns, butter and milk in the small portable fridge were a nice touch;)
The room was warm and the bath was lovely. It is also really close to the main street and relatively quiet.
The TV was good, with access to Netflix.
The low score on this review refers to the fact that the information available in the listing did not accurately indicate how small it was.
It was very cramped for two people.
There is no separate bathroom. It is a toilet in a wardrobe - very cool and unique, important for the toilet to be secluded, but there is no bathroom.
The kitchenette is a microwave, kettle, toaster, and mini portable fridge on a set of drawers. It is cute, but there is nowhere to wash up, dish soap, or tea towel . You need to use the small basin next to the bath.
Unfortunately there isn't much room for two people, with suitcases in this very nicely decorated room. It was cramped, and the bed was the only place to sit down inside.
The images shown in the listing do not include an image of the overall space, only images of various parts. To be transparent of the space, an overall image needs to be included so guests know exactly what the space looks like. If this was the case, and it was made clear there was no bathroom, only a separate toilet, we would have selected a larger space.
There is only one coat hanger and limited space to store clothing: no drawers or wardrobe.
For guests who typically shower, just note that the bathtub is the only way to wash.
This accommodation would suit guests with very little luggage. If you were looking for a kitchenette to have more than beverages and small snacks (such as toast, cereal, etc), this kitchenette would not adequately cater for that.
