Acadia Lobsterman's Secret Cottage

This is one of those really great properties that all others should be judged against. The host has gone to great lengths to make the stay comfortable and complete, all those big and little things that can make a stay exceptional. Well stocked, clean, comfortable, and omg they had every utensil, pot, pick and even written instructions on how to have your own lobster dinner, which we did cause yeah it’s Maine. Made s’mores outside in the fire pit off the rear deck, which had interesting furniture made out of lobster traps. Enjoyed Acadia Natl Park of course, but also enjoyed the local neighborhood beach which was only a block or so walk away.

Hard to find a complaint, but a minor thing was the water tasted a bit funny, (well water?) so we just used bottled for drinking and coffee. The upstairs shower was kinda hot, which was tolerable but odd.
