Chalet with a Private Beach in Acadia National Park

Location was amazing. Right on the water and very private with dock. The host was so nice & easy to work with.

Having only 1 bathroom for 4, but we knew that going in.

This was a beautiful little place to stay at. Everything we needed was provided, much like in a hotel (sheets, towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, etc., even coffee!). The only thing we needed to get was food. The beds were very comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. Communication with the host was through text which was great and always very prompt. The location was awesome. Secluded with direct access to the beach but only 10 min from Bar Harbor and the main entrance to Acadia National Park. We loved our stay at the Chalet. One thing I’d recommend for visitors is to also bring bottled drinking water, as the tap water is high in iron and leaves an aftertaste.

The only thing to note is that the AC window units, which are noisy like all window units are, are located directly next to the beds.

This little cabin-like chalet sat on the ocean in the most beautiful setting. We enjoyed drinking our coffee, watching seals with our binoculars from the deck. There were also little benches in the trees to sit on. (Just watch for red ants!) The chalet was super cute, extremely clean, had comfortable bedding and was well stocked. You could tell the host put extra care into the details to make our stay enjoyable. We loved every moment here. We appreciated the short drive to the park and to town. There are even eateries in walking distance. Our host, Vira, was welcoming and easy to reach. We would definitely come back.

We would have loved to bring our black lab with us. But if dogs were allowed, this property might not have been as clean as it was!! lol

The location was in gorgeous woods right on the water. It was peaceful and beautiful!
