The house was great - wonderful location, beautiful views, and very comfortable -. everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the deck with a warm fire, looking over the bay towards Acadia National Park,
and caught the beautiful sunrise each morning. It was an easy drive to the Park, Bar Harbor and Ellsworth, all with fun thing to do and great food, coffee and even a few breweries. It was wonderful at the end of busy day to return to the house, relax and enjoy the quiet surrondings. We really felt at home.
Watch out for deer on the road!

After a couple of weeks of travel with different hotels in each city and eating only restaurant food to arrive at this beautiful and spacious home to finish our vacation in felt miraculous. We could see both sunrise and sunset from the decks and from the lake, which was just a short walk down the hill. We enjoyed reviewing vacation sitting out by the fire pit in the evenings and making meals in the thoroughly stocked kitchen. It was large enough to easily sleep 10 people, and we only had four so it was beyond spacious for us. The owners had everything from kayaks to snow shoes for use in the garage. Wish we had been able to stay longer!
