Holiday Suites at Star

The property has nice facilities and an excellent location, less than a 10-minute walk from the Petronas Twin Towers. The apartment also had a good view, despite being on the 16th floor.

Unfortunately, cleanliness was a significant issue during our stay. The sheets, towels (only one towel per person), duvet and pillows had stains and signs of wear, while the pillows also had hair on them. The curtains were visibly dirty, and overall the apartment appeared to have received only basic cleaning, with several areas that seemed to have been overlooked. After contacting the property, the sheets and towels were replaced the same day, and the pillow covers were changed the following day. Having read some previous reviews, we had brought extra sheets and pillowcases as a plan B, so for the remaining days we chose not to have the apartment cleaned and use our own. We had also requested a high-floor apartment, but ours was on the 16th floor. Although the view was good, there was noticeable noise reaching the bedroom from the pool area on the 7th floor and from the street, as there was a construction site nearby, which added to the noise.

De locatie en het zwembad. Ruim appartement. In directe omgeving supermarkten, eetgelegenheden en winkelcentrum. Vlakbij Petronas Towers. Met Grab konden we gemakkelijk overal komen in Kuala Lumpur met ons gezin van 5.

Geen balkon, zo goed als geen keukeninventaris (2 borden en 2 glazen).

Location was quite convenient

Very disappointed with the cleanliness during my stay. Bedsheets and pillow cases were not changed regularly, they just make the bed with the same sheets that were put the other day. I could actually feel the dust in the room. Did not mop the floor just a little sweep on the floor. Basic housekeeping standards were not met. I hope the host improves their cleaning practices, as guests should be able to expect a clean and comfortable room plus living room
