A lovely surprise hamper full of local treats was awaiting our arrival, so generous and very much so devoured as soon as we unpacked. Location and cottage were so relaxing, just what we needed to unwind as a family. Truly a home away from home. Always got a quick response whenever we needed someone. Kate and Ali were on hand if we needed them,tips of which beach to go to and when. Kids had their own space to escape to, they loved the daily dose of seeing and feeding the chickens as well as.fussing over the llama and sheep in the field. The fresh eggs daily were a treat and the kids loved fattening the chickens up to be rewarded by eggs to collect daily 😋 The decor was thoughtfully put together, the same thought went into kitchenware supplied as well as toiletries that were fully stocked. Nice touch to add the treasure hunt, even better when we found the treasure in the form of chocs! Handy to have the washer and clothes rack for keeping on top of beach days out. Rooms were spacious and views from lounge and bedroom were amazing. Lots of supermarket choices all between 3-10 mins. Places to eat, beaches and days out spots were in abundance. Spoilt for choice! Thanks Kate and Ali for getting the bed made up for a last minute addition to our stay, my mum had the best time and said she felt right at home 😊 Kids are missing the chickens sooo much!

Lovely property with interesting features in particular the stairway with a banister worn with hu dreds of years of use. Really good interior conversion of an historical building.

TV reception kept dropping not to return for a little while.
