The price was good and location was perfect.

Under the bed there was food (smarties & noodles) and snot on wall and hair in shower and bedsheets smelled of aftershave. For the price of the room we didn’t mind but we did notice.

The location was spot on. The ease of access to the keys, simple. During the walk up multiple stairs it was quiet, lacking road noise. I had read reviews prior to my visit, quite accurate, so was not surprised. The price was in budget. Smelled clean. Had plenty of heaters 2 electric and 2 radiators. Loved watching the birds in the trees and the movement of the trees out of the windows. The kettle worked.

Lots of stairs. From the entrance to the room could have been cleaner. The apartment at the top of the stairs. Large, poorly lit once the natural light faded, in poor up keep. No water ( hot ) in the bathroom sink just cold. Toilet seat needed replacing as well used, toilet as clean as it could be, didn't flush well. Used extra water to flush. Dirty mats. Large window which was above the pub garden below. Shower stall in state of disrepair; did not use so cannot state whether the shower worked. Hole in ceiling to the roof/attic. Main room: 2 beds; one clean the other had hairs and other bits from the previous occupant. Beds!!! Spent mattresses on bed bases one of which was too big for the bed base. 3 large single glass windows with nets, no curtains and no protection from street noise. Floor in need of repair. Cooker rusted hob. Kitchen small and dark only one light of four with a bulb in. One smoke alarm disabled. Did not sit on the sofa. TV did not work as the internet would not connect gave up after 6 attempts. Apartment below screaming and shouting.
