Absolutely fantastic location. Very quiet. Great that the lodges aren’t on top of each other.
The property could have been cleaner. I picked up litter under the sofas and the cobwebs behind the bed were a bit concerning!

The cabin is beautifully nestled in the trees with panoramic views and equipped with lots of home comforts. We were right near the pool house, which the kids loved. The estate is in a great location, close to Ambleside and Coniston and surrounding areas. I can't fault it. The only minor issue to me was that the beds were a little uncomfortable, and there were bits of food in the kitchen sink and tea splashes down the front of the fridge (easily cleaned and wiped away though). It was a perfect stay, and I highly recommend it. We will definitely be returning

Stunning setting, beautiful cabin and all essentials plus extra! Perfect location for hiking and great pub serving good food only a short walk away. A real piece of heaven to retreat to!
Parking would be tight for larger vehicles
