Dit is een authentieke ervaring, geen hotel. Alles is proper en de maaltijden worden met zorg en oog voor detail gebracht. Maar je moet wel op tijd zijn. Dus besef, als je deze locatie boekt, dat je een tijdschema moet aanhouden voor maaltijden, toegang ‘s avonds en het (optioneel) gebed.
Personeel is afstandelijk en koud. Je voelt je niet echt een gewenste gast. Ook al heb je er toch goed voor betaald.

La chambre spacieuse et confortable, bien décorée. La localisation très centrale.
On n’a pas accès au jardin, On ne voit pas du tout de moines et aucun échange avec qui que ce soit n’est proposé, ni même possible. pas du tout de transmission ni explication, ni sur les repas, ni sur l’office. De plus, l’accueil est un peu sec. Bref c’est frustrant et pas tellement accueillant.

We boekten dit hotel voor een ervaring van een verblijf bij de monniken. Bij aankomst geen monnik te zien, alleen een stugge en onvriendelijke man, die alles kort en kordaat weergaf. Zeker geen welkomgevoel. Diner was wel top! Superervaring om een een veganistische maaltijd te eten en op zijn Japans geserveerd. Kamer was supereenvoudig maar wel met Japanervaring. De ceremonie is wel een ervaring om mee te volgen, maar verwacht geen gesprek met een monnik of duiding door een monnik.
Heel duur voor wat het in totaal eigenlijk maar was... Eén van het enige wat we na 3w vakantie zeker niet opnieuw zouden boeken.
