Great hosts, the house had everything we needed. The area was quiet and full of wildlife, which we enjoyed looking at from the hot tub in the evenings. The house is larger than it looks in the photos, we had a lovely relaxing break thank you!

We had an absolutely amazing weekend at Monkroyd House and we all wanted to stay for longer. The house is beautiful and has a really relaxing atmosphere. It is not far away from shops and we visited the farm shop and coffee shop at the top of the drive a couple of times. The owners were really friendly and helpful.
An enclosed area for the dogs would have been really useful, maybe around the hot tub area. We had to keep them on their leads while we sat outside due to the wildlife.
The house is attached to another house and the people living there walked right in front of the kitchen window quite a lot so it didn’t feel very private.
