Indie Deep Ellum in Dallas

Location was great! We definitely recommend Gus’s Chicken right across the street (get the chess pie!!!!) and Terry Blacks BBQ. Deep Ellum was a vibrant neighborhood with tons of shops and restaurants with all the amenities you would need within walking distance of the apartment, including the DART which we took downtown to the JFK museum. The apartment complex also had a very nice gym & a pool that was nice to dip our feet in after a day of exploring the area. Apartment was clean, WiFi worked perfectly for my remote job, check in was easy, and the bed was very comfortable. This place was an absolute steal at this price point.

Some minor electrical issues in the apartment. Fuses seemed to blow pretty easily, but was not hard to fix. Management was very responsive & helpful though! The vibe of Deep Ellum also changes late at night, especially on weekends, but if you’re not into clubbing until 2am, this is a non-issue.

The colony of roaches that occupied the apartment. Every time we came in at night a turned on the lights there would be at least 10 roaches that ran .
