Luxury and confort in Quadra Alea

Quadra Alea was a fantastic base for our 7-night trip to Playa del Carmen. The location on Calle 26 Norte is genuinely ideal — quiet residential block but a short walk to 5th Avenue, the beach, restaurants, and the Calle 12 nightlife strip. The 3-bedroom apartment had more than enough space for three travelers, with a full kitchen, comfortable beds, AC that actually kept up with the May heat, and a clean, well-maintained finish throughout. The two pools were a real bonus on the hot afternoons, and the keys from the lock box made arrival and departures painless. The single biggest highlight, though, was the security team. The guards on duty were phenomenal — friendly, attentive, professional, and always visible without being intrusive. They went out of their way to be helpful with directions, and just generally making us feel welcome and safe coming and going at all hours. They genuinely elevated the whole stay and deserve real recognition from management. Check-in was smooth and the apartment matched the photos and description honestly. Excellent value for what we got.

The one consistent issue was the WiFi. The connection was unreliable and signal coverage was poor across the unit — strong in one part of the apartment but weak or dropping entirely in the bedrooms and other areas. A mesh setup or a second access point would make a big difference. It didn't ruin the trip, but it was the one thing that kept this from being a perfect 10.

Localização perfeita, ao lado de restaurantes, mercados e a 1 quadra da principais rua turística de Playa. O apartamento fica em um condomínio e apartamentos muito bonito e bem localizado, o apartamento é muito bonito e bem decorado, quartos grandes, camas confortáveis l, todos os quartos são suítes com bons banheiros e banhos muitos bons. A cozinha tinha tudo que precisamos para tomar nosso café e fazer refeições quando estávamos cansados para sair. Aproveitamos a piscina do condomínio e conseguimos paras nas vagas do prédio. Estávamos viajando em família com 6 adultos e 1 criança de 2 anos. Foi perfeito. Voltaríamos com toda ctza. O acesso foi fácil e rápido, a internet funcionou perfeitamente.

Nada, foi tudo perfeito.

Boas instalações (quartos e demais ambiente espaçosos, mobiliário, equipamentos), localização (perto da quinta avenida, mas longe o suficiente da agitação), garagem, piscina, academia.

O único ponto fraco foi o mau cheiro de mofo no apartamento, causado pela umidade. Havia um equipamento desumidificador, que precisamos deixar ligado por longos períodos para atenuar o odor.
