Buxton Road Suites

Really liked the accomodation and facilities. Liked the air bnb style and the fact we could cook meals. Perfect location for what we needed - attending events at Palace Bowl. Nice residential area with great public transport links. Check in was easy.

Our room (2) was very warm. We did have a fan which did make a difference.... London was 32 degrees whilst we were there and the hosts can't control the weather but yeah it was warm getting showered and ready for our events. Only 1 fridge/freezer was working at the time we stayed, which meant it was a bit of a squeeze fitting our stuff in whilst trying not to rearrange everyone elses stuff - we managed and thankfully were only there 2 nights so our food was minimal.

Lovely place to stay very peaceful. It has a fully equipped modern kitchen and a lovely outside space. Everything looks and feels brand new and the host has spared no expense. I’ve really enjoyed staying here.

Perfectly adequate

No chairs...so i helped myself to two from the kitchen...AND.... no television, wasn't expecting that!

The location of the place was better than what I was expecting. You can walk 15 min to the train station and take a train for 30 minutes and you will be in the city centre. It was also very easy to access and enter the place.

From my understanding, each room had a little private kitchen (microwave, kettle and fridge), but this was not the case at all. We were in the yellow room and we had none of this which was pretty disappointing. The shared kitchen was very big but all the cupboards were empty, there were only 3 plates for 6 bedrooms in the building. The bedroom and the kitchen were also quite dirty, we had some rubbish under the wardrobe in our room, and the fridge in the shared kitchen was extremely dirty. There were signs in the kitchen asking us to clean up after ourselves, but there was only a hand soap dispenser (almost empty when we arrived and completely empty when we left) and no dish soap at all.
