The Brigstock Nest

Great location just 200 yards from Thornton Heath station which again is 3 stops from Balham on the northern line. Room was spacious and clean with the shared use of a kitchen.

The en-suite bathroom couldn’t be any smaller. I’m 5’10” and 13 stone and it was a tight fit for me.

Clean, tidy and fit for purpose flat. Customer service made up for the simplicity of the flat. Agent was contactable out of hours (02:00am) to assist with check in.

Room given wasn’t the room advertised. The room is basic yet functional. There was linen / bedding drying in the communal area. Access is difficult in the dark.

Neat little studio, clean and convenient for an event we were attending just over the road, as well as being super close to the train station. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. They provided an iron and a board when we asked about one, which was very nice of them. Check in and out was easy and smooth, and having access to the shared kitchen was a nice detail.

The mattress felt a bit past it's best. When one of us moved, the whole thing wobbled. That said, I slept like a log on it! Also, the shared kitchen could do with a bit more crockery. There seemed to only be three mugs, for example. I'm not sure how many studios share each kitchen, and how much had already been taken by other guests, but I'd say a few more would be worth providing.
