House was clean, plenty of beds and bedding for varying number of guests. Within 10 mins to both Cass and Green Bank Observatory, only 25 to snowshoe. Great location for everything we wanted out of a weekend in the mountains with family. Kitchen could be better equipped. Skillets could be replaced and there was not a colander or baking sheets, but we improvised and it didn’t prevent us from making what we intended. Had trails near house to walk as well.

Took the kids and grandparents to Cass and Greenbank. Excellent location for those activities. House was clean and cozy. We decided to grill out and have s'mores instead of driving an hour to get a restaurant, it was perfect.There isn't much around, which for me was a good thing.

This house is very nice and clean. The location is right off the highway and is great if you are skiing at Snowshoe or attending other events in West Virginia and Virginia. We were there for the Maple Festival located in Monterey, VA. Overall the house is as it appears in the listing with one little thing all should know. The second queen bedroom is not accessible from the main house. The entrance is located from the back deck and you do have to walk in the elements. If you have little ones, this room is not ideal when planning. Also, there is not a blow dryer provided for all those that don't usually travel with one. (unless they add from my suggestion to management). I would stay at this rental if I needed something in that area again.
