We so enjoyed our time at 41 Empinado Way. There was such a roomy feel to this large home with beautiful lake views from almost every room! It accommodated our large group very well.

Pros: -The property manager let us check in about two hours early and I appreciate that so much!-The location is gorgeous -It accommodated our family of 9 really well-well stocked, plenty of towels and bedding and even had some spices available, as well as coffeeThings to consider:-The picture in the area show things to do in the community, which we were excited about. But I didn’t expect that the community would be so BIG! You can’t just walk to the pool or recreation center, you have to drive as it’s about 4 miles away. That was kind of a bummer-The driveway is STEEP. There are rocks on the side when you drive in that we were afraid we were going to hit because you couldn’t see the driveway when you turned in. If you plan on going when it’s raining or snow- I would def not stay here. The roads around it are tight and curvy.-The kids had a blast on the boat dock but my goodness be prepared for a million stairs. That was rough. It would be nice to have chairs down there to sit in, as well as a fire pit for smores somewhere on the property. -The beds really need to be replaced. They were very hard and uncomfortable. The upstairs one has a dip in it and the ones downstairs are incredibly uncomfortable. One made noise and moved everytime you got in and out. The last night my husband had to sleep on the couch due to the bed. The furniture was fine but all could use updating. They have been really well loved.-Lastly, things there close early or aren’t open during the week. So the Marina restaurant in the community wasn’t open til Thursday. The beach area closes anywhere from 2pm-4pm, as well as the pool- it closed at 6pm.Overall, nice area and we had a great vacation but I thought I would put that up there just so you have more insight into your decision
