Peaceful Valley Retreat is a brand-new rental in Sugarcreek, OH. Nestled in the hills of Amish country and full of charm, this home will not disappoint. On the main floor there is a cozy living room, and a kitchen/dining area with lots of natural light and is well equipped for your cooking and dining needs. There is also a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom. Upstairs is a loft area that has a reading nook and two full-sized beds. Outside you'll find a beautiful view of Amish country and a furnished courtyard area for relaxing and unwinding. Sparkling clean and tastefully decorated, you'll find this home to be the perfect spot for your next getaway or business trip.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.
- Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
- Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.
- Absolutely no pets. If a pet is discovered, there will be a $250 upcharge.

Out of the several cabins I’ve stayed at, this one was by far the nicest with the best views. Unfortunately the front view is an old run-down barn but out beyond it is a cow pasture and to the right is nothing but wide open hills and farmland. It was quite beautiful to stare out of the living room window at how peaceful and beautiful Amish country can be. The price was extremely fair. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The hot tub was one of the nicer I’ve been in. Very close to anything you need (Walnut Creek merchants just down the road, Berlin or Millersburg just a bit further). My kids love The Farm at Walnut Creek which is literally a block away from the property. My complaints would be 1) lack of a tv. Seems like an easy fix to just plop a tv in the corner of the living room and one for the little rec area upstairs. Amish country shuts down at 5-6pm every night and it would have been nice to watch a movie as a family to unwind after a long day. My next complaint is 2) the amount of flies was crazy. We spent the first hour in the property swatting as many as we could. Any time we went in and out of the car there were a dozen flies waiting to come along with us. All that said, it was not enough to negate all the positives this cabin offered. By far the most beautiful views offered of any I’ve been to. Best hot tub. Best location. I would definitely come back.

Very clean, very quiet. Wish there was a TV, and maybe the fly trap could have been swapped. But we would definitely stay again, and recommend this spot to others!!
