Got what we wanted: a clean, comfortable place with kitchen, 2 baths, a place to sit, center of town

We liked the proximity to many locations: restaurants, shopping were largely within walking distance

There was no lock on the front door. We had to prop up a chair under front inside door knob. We could no access any front room tv, although the notebook said we could. we are not sure why, maybe we just couldn't figure it out.

Cozy

It's a quaint, cozy house. I was skeptical at first but once we stepped inside it was like stepping into the past at grandma's house. The kitchen was awesome and full of rustic charm. I want a kitchen like that. The living room was pretty big and definitely cozy. We loved the activities/game room. We wished we could've stayed longer. Everything was fantastic.

There was a spot on the floor that you could catch your foot on as my daughter did. But otherwise it was a great experience.

It was walking distance to everything and we enjoyed hearing the buggies go by every now and again.

You could not lock the front door or screen door. The thermostat was a little tricky to operate. And the vent in the bedroom that’s off from the bathrooms did not stay open so it was cold in that room the whole time.

Very cute house, great price for our family

Loved the location. House was super clean and lived that we could just walk around downtown. Two doors down was the best donut shop

The mattress in the bedroom closet to the sunroom is in desperate need of replacement. Several people left notes but we ignored them because it didn't look too bad. Big mistake. The center looked like a crater when we woke up

I liked being in a house that was fully equipped. It felt like being at home.

It was hard to find a place for breakfast that was easily accessible for someone with disabilities and open so we went to Der Dutchman in Walnut Creek. The breakfast buffet was wonderful so it was a good choice.

The people doing the yardwork were there at 0730. I was asleep until they were mowing and weed eating outside my window.

Great place for a girlfriend weekend!

Super clean, very well stocked kitchen if you want to cook. Very comfortable & roomy. Lots of character. Perfect location, can walk to a ton of stores & restaurants.

Back door really needs to be replaced or taken down. Since it’s on a main road traffic could get loud but the back porch was perfect!!

the TV went off and on! Beds were uncomfortable and too small. Bath towels, etc. were dingy…poor water pressure in the showers! too expensive compared to newer facilities!

what breakfast? We brought our own an it was ok we liked that we could walk all over the town and shoppe, most of us are over 75 years old and this was the best for us. But those front steps are a killer.

Location was fantastic. It was nice having the whole house to ourselves. The place was very clean.

This is absolutely no fault of the owners. I'm from the country where it is quiet. I think every semi in the state of Ohio drove through Berlin that night and I heard the trucks brake and start back up throughout the night.

This cute little house is within walking distance to a lot of shops and diners

We stayed one night and received 4-6 inches of snow and it had blown during the night up the side walkway where we couldn’t get out without having high boots on. It’s not that I didn’t like it, we were prepared, just be aware in case you have the possibility of snow. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive also. :)
