Escape to this wooded retreat just steps away from the glistening shores of Lake Michigan. Greenwood Beach House is the perfect blend of modern coastal charm, offering comfortable furniture and beds, beautiful decor, and enough space for the whole family. This home is located right next to Cedar Point County Park which is approximately 2.5 acres and includes a shaded picnic area as well as 133 feet of sandy beach!

LIVING ROOM MAIN LEVEL: SLEEPER SOFA
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a bright and airy living space that will instantly put you in vacation mode. Greenwood Beach House has one bedroom on the main level with a queen bed and across the hall is the full bathroom. In the living room, the couch pulls out into a sofa sleeper for additional sleeping. Upstairs is an open loft featuring two twin over full bunks. The loft is stocked with toys, Legos, and an Xbox. Outside you will find a great covered patio with comfy furniture, a gas grill for making delicious dinner, and a large in-ground firepit to gather around at the end of the day. This is not a pet-friendly property. This property has a portable AC unit.
Silver Lake is located in Mears, Michigan, and offers shorelines along Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. While vacationing here you won't want to miss out on the experiences that the massive Silver Lake Sand Dunes have to offer. Rent a jeep of your own or head over to Mac Wood's Dune Rides for an adventurous ride on the sand dunes. Nearby is the Hart-Montague Bicycle Trail which will take you along 22.5 miles of scenic routes. The quaint little town of Pentwater is located just north of the Silver Lake area. Pentwater is the epitome of small-town charm with its shops, food, and ice cream. Don't forget to grab breakfast at Cherry Point, where they offer homemade donuts and treats daily. Great location near the lake, we could be down at the beach in just a few minutes. Nice fire pit in the back in a quiet forest area. Lots of great hangout spaces, both inside and outside. We appreciated all the little details, like the fire pit, loft with kids toys, basketball hoop, laundry Machine, etc. Would recommend for anyone looking for a family getaway near Lake Michigan!

Enjoyed every minute of this well established and well thought out house. The house was lovely, the linens plentiful and clean. Kitchen well equipped and the neighbors helpful and lovely. Believe the listing when it says the steps to the water are many but not steep. If you want to enjoy the water/beach on site you must be able to go up and down lots of steps. There are beaches near by however that you can enjoy.

Nice that everything you wanted to play with was there. Just like home! Including scooters and beach toys.
Downfall NO air conditioning downstairs. First night VERY HOT!

The house was nice but there is no air conditioning other than the portable air conditioner in the upstairs loft so it does get warm downstairs. The mattresses were far from comfortable, so much that I ended up sleeping on the couch.
