Excellent location in the heart of town. We were able to walk to most touristic attractions easily. There is also a tram stop nearby and the main train station is 15 minutes walking distance. The property is a house converted into flats and the owners/hosts live/work on the premises so it was easy to get the keys when we first arrived and the hosts also kindly let us leave our luggage with them after check out on our last day. The property had a small kitchen with appliances (even a dishwasher) and cleaning materials. Bathroom was clean and had the essentials. The living room was like a proper family room-cosy and had lots of entertainment (films, Wii console, games, books) for all ages. We had a couple of issues with hot water and sheets. Thankfully, the hosts were very fast responding to our messages.

Hot Water and Privacy Issues From what we understood, the hot water tank was not sufficient for a family of four, which unfortunately caused inconvenience right before our outing. One of us couldn’t take a shower as the hot water had run out. Had we been made aware of this tank limitation beforehand, we could have planned accordingly. Additionally, one of the bedrooms can only be accessed through the bathroom, which created privacy concerns—no one felt comfortable using the toilet while someone was sleeping in that room. As a result, we decided not to use that bedroom and instead used the sofas in the living room. While one sofa was a sofa bed, the other was not, which made sleeping arrangements less comfortable. We also noticed that one of the doors on our floor actually belonged to the host’s property. Although it was locked, it had a glass window at the top, which made the space feel less private—as if conversations could be overheard.
