    As a solo traveler, this place was a pretty good stay for the price. The hotel is in between 2 stations, making it pretty convenient for the public transit. There is food and laundry on the top floor, which is nice since my stay was almost a week. The only thing that was a bit difficult was that there is no elevator so moving my luggage was a bit of a struggle. But for the price, I do think this place is worth it.

    We loved our stay at Honesty Station. It was so clean, cose to public transport, and Jerry, manager, was so responsive and kind. He took great pride in the place and cared for people who stayed. The rooms are tiny but you just need a place to rest and shower, as you go to South Korea to explore. It is a lovely touch to have the use of washing machines and dryers on the top floor, as well as food available whenever you want. What is provided is simple and sustainable, noodles, cereal, milk, eggs, ham, bread etc. We were very happy staying 5 days, and would consider staying there again if we got the opportunity to visit again.

    Their staff members on site were nice and attentive, but it ultimately felt like the entire place was run by amateurs who have zero knowledge of and experience in hospitality. The room itself wasn’t too too bad, but it was essentially converted from one of those subdivided flats: no sound proofing in a very cramped and dark space. Make sure to bring your noise cancellation headphones. I also get that it’s in an old building that has no elevator, but even then, the staircases are steep and there are also steps all over the place inside the rooms. They offer free snacks in the common area but it’s on the fifth floor. The hostel is close to subway and bus stations, but the neighborhood doesn’t feel very welcoming at night. The entrance to each floor uses passcodes, but they are extremely simple and easy to identify. This is potentially dangerous and open to trespassing. Again, the only upside to this place was that the staff were accommodating but they also appeared overworked and probably the management/owner doesn’t even care. Overall, not the most pleasant experience.
