Hugely disappointed, we would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
Disappointing Stay — No Hot Water & Misleading Information We paid nearly £1,000 for a two-night stay and received a completely substandard experience. • No hot water throughout the entire weekend — 14 cold showers between us. Despite a plumber being sent, the issue was never resolved. • Broken toilet seat on arrival — unacceptable condition and not what you’d expect from any professionally let apartment. • Delayed our plans — we had to wait over an hour for maintenance, causing us to be late for scheduled arrangements. • Barely any basic provisions like toilet paper — again, not what you expect for the price paid. • Misleading listing regarding parking — the advert stated there was free street parking, but this was not the case. Both I and my friend received £60 parking fines. The listing has since been corrected, and the property did eventually reimburse us, but the stress and inconvenience were avoidable. • When we raised these issues, the host offered only £85 as a refund — less than 9% of the cost — which we found completely unreasonable given the lack of essential services.
