2 Bedr, 3 Beds, 2 Bath Covent Garden 3-min subway

Location, perfect; walking distance to everything. Apartment was lovely and spotless! The windowed sitting area would be lovely on a winters's day with son falling onto the upper windows

It did not have AC and we were there during the hottest day on record in London, in May, however, with the windows open and the fans on, it cooled off at night and it was just fine. Also, after 11:00 PM the area gets very quiet and the unit is on the second floor with windows that could not be accessed by an intruder so we were very comfortable to leave them open.

Great location in the middle of Seven Dials. Super quiet and yet everything can be reached within minutes. Perfect food places and vintage shops. The flat is light and has a perfect size for 4 people.

We stayed in January and it took some time for the flat to warm up.

- Excellent location for first-timers, close to everything, wonderful and charming in the heart of very busy and popular Seven Dials. - Spacious and updated.

Turnoffs: - Felt like holiday price gouging – booked property 11/2/25 with deposit and exchanged several messages with host (Steve); I had until 11/25 to cancel with $0 penalty. On 11/24, received notice my reservation auto-cancelled without notice and I had to rebook the identical space for $1400 (over 1000£) more. This is easy to resolve and credit, but host gave zero consideration to do the right thing. - On arrival, 3 out of 4 lights in one bathroom weren’t working; vanity light in other bathroom not working. Mike said he would fix but could not arrange to meet when we were at the flat. I was a bit concerned since there was no safe, and I had to leave a work laptop and other items without security. Suggest adding a safe for security. - After replacing the 3 burned out light bulbs, trash and debris were left on the bathroom floor and sink, with no cleanup (pic). The vanity light in other bathroom was not fixed or acknowledged. - Apt. very cold on arrival; with radiant heat, it took long while to heat up and adjust varying heat throughout apt. Suggest pre-warming it for guests whom you know are arriving soon. - Random hair found in dresser drawers and on floor (pics) – suggest more thorough cleaning. Easy things to resolve: - Lighting on entry – very dark and difficult to see getting into complex door at top of steep stairs, suggest adding motion light. - Key pickup process at a local store is inconvenient, suggest using keyless door entry with code. - Keys to unlock complex and apt very tricky to operate – a struggle every use. - Linens – no washcloths, just one bath and hand towel each for 6 days. - Shower in one bathroom has no curtain – cold, lacks privacy, water sprays in bathroom. - Bathroom lighting is poor. No outlets in bathroom other than for shavers. No conditioner, only shampoo. No resolve but be aware: there are several steep stairs leading up to complex door, and to apartment door.
