River Tree Chalet is a peaceful holiday house situated next to the weir in the heart of Margaret River. With direct access to the river, it’s an ideal spot to relax or explore the town, just a 5-minute walk away. The weir is also a fantastic swimming hole in the summer. Enjoy the natural surroundings and unwind in this comfortable hideaway.
The Space
A three bedroom house located in the heart of Margaret River Town, a short stroll to beautiful walking/cycling trails, restaurants, cafes and shops on the main street of Margaret River and a leisurely 10 minute drive to some of Margaret River's best beaches and wineries.
River Tree Chalet is a practical and comfortable holiday home, perfect for families. It features three upstairs bedrooms: one with a king bed with attached an ensuite , one queen bed and the third bedroom features a queen bed and a bunk with a double bed, and a single top bunk. The second family bathroom includes a toilet, bath and shower. Downstairs you can find a laundry area and additional toilet for added convenience.
Outside, the front yard is shaded by large peppi trees, creating a paved courtyard nestled between the forest. This area includes an undercover seating space and BBQ, perfect for outdoor dining. River Tree Chalet is an ideal spot for your next family holiday in the south!

Extra fees: Cleaning Fee: While we charge a cleaning fee, we still expect our guests to leave the house in a neat & tidy condition on departure and follow our check-out instructions including washing all dishes and removing rubbish to outside bins etc. Credit Card Fees: 1.75% credit card fees apply for domestic VISA, Mastercard & EFTPOS, 3.50% for international VISA, Mastercard & EFTPOS and 3% for AMEX.
Linen: linen is included in your stay.

Our stay was great despite a power outage which was handled exceedingly well by the local property manager and the overseas virtual assistant.

House was well equipped with everything required for short break. 15 minute walk to centre and shops. Some issues getting booked for meal on first night, should have booked in advance. Choice of carryout meals ok. If cooking at house everything needed bbq and cooker. Nice touch 4 beers and starter of milk. Plenty pods for m/c with coffee sachets and tea bags. Only downside was a couple of insects on arrival disposed of and no more after. Some cobwebs which should have been cleaned. Plenty of toilets, 6 in out party, showers good with plenty hot water. No complaints. Plenty of walking / bike trails nearby.

Our short stay in River Tree Chalet was perfect. Unfortunately for us was we had a fair bit of rain so we were back at the River Tree Chalet more than we expected. The chalet had everything we could have wanted to keep 2 kids (8&3) entertained. Plenty of games, comfy lounge room area and close walks down to the weir where great. Bedrooms comfortable and kitchen well equipped too. Perfect for a family or two. We will be back for some sunshine next time.

The only issue we felt was the main bedroom is in need of an updated mattress as the mattress sloped into the middle showing that it definitely needs to be replaced.
The home was amazing and well stocked and just perfect.
