AL Farida Boutique Pyramids

Staff were very nice and hospitable however the soundproofing is nonexistent making rest impossible

We are a couple visiting Cairo and Alexandria for a few days and stayed in Al Farida Boutique Pyramids Hotel for 3 nights during the week leading up to Christmas day. The hotel is located a stones throw away from the entry to Giza Pyramids plateau! It's in front of a common pick-up location in Giza for tourists' group tours, and it is quite busy there very early in the morning. It quiets down and find it quite peaceful at late afternoon and during the night, though. It's a newly built hotel (started operations 2025) has a lift / elevator than can fit (cramped) two people with luggage at the same time. Has a small, simple lobby with ample seating and a small front desk counter. They don't use keycards, but an actual physical key that you should leave at the front desk when you leave for the day (you can bring it with you, fees applies for lost key/s, of course.) We had a very clean and big room. Window view to the side and you can hear the street activities when the windows are open. Minimal, clean design, vinyl parquet flooring and lots of lamps. We had a queen sized bed with bedside table on both sides, sockets available on each side of the bed. There's a space to put your luggage on and shoes, a fridge, vanity counter with mirror, pouf. Kettle is clean. No full body mirror in our room. There is a wardrobe with hangers and a safe, a single armchair and side table. Bathroom is clean. There's an integrated bidet / shattaf in the water closet (there's a knob on the lower right-hand side of the WC, then turn the knob counterclockwise to use), and a shower. Seat height of the WC is quite high though (my feet barely touches the floor when I'm seated. Haha) there is a hair blower and socket available, the towels are clean; toiletries are in pump containers, however no toothbrush, toothpaste and no bedroom slippers. At the topmost level, you will have your breakfast with the view of the pyramids!!! There's option to dine in the open air area (where you could see the pyramids) and also an indoor option. Breakfast is served as a set, you will choose between Egyptian or continental type of breakfast. Breakfast boxes are apparently common in Egypt due to day trips or tours that starts well before most of the hotels' breakfast hours. We did ask for a box for our first two mornings in Cairo, and collected it at the front desk. There's bread with jam and honey, fruit, juice, and a bottle of water. The staff at the front desk are very, very kind and honest people. There's no formal security guard but there's always a front desk personnel, around 2-3 staff at a time. They offer tours and transfers as well. We availed of their transfer services. The driver who picked us up from the airport is very good and jolly. He told us a lot about Cairo and even stopped on the way to the hotel and ordered sugar cane drinks for us as a treat. We also hired their driver to drive us to and from our Christmas eve dinner in Cairo. All of these drivers are very friendly and respectful and we arrived in our destinations safely. Overall, we highly recommend that you book this hotel as this could be the best lower to mid-range priced hotel you could get in Giza, it certainly is worth it for its rooms, pyramids view, service and convenience.

무질서의 도시에서 ㅋㅋ 알리와 에빗의 특별 케어를 받으며 안전하게 잘 즐기다 갑니다. 제방은 피라미드뷰는 아니었지만 테라스가서 종종 즐기곤했어요 룸 컨디션이 매우 좋고 늘 저를 걱정하던ㅋㅋ 스태프들 덕에 기분좋게 묵고갑니다. 보디가드들이었어요. 완전추천해여!!!

Simply put, this is a near new Hotel with amazing rooms, brilliant views and even better staff. Only place to stay in Cairo, especially first timers like us.
