Bluestay 40 - Superb apartment in Paris

Location was perfect AC was so great during hot weather

TV in one room was hard to navigate (we never did get it working). Luckily it is one of many tvs.

Week long stay. The location was superb and great for our large family group which included grandma, adults and kids. Walkable to the subway, parks, the Seine, great restaurants and shops including grocery stores (we mainly went to carrefour). Lots of plates and cutlery to use. The air conditioning was strong which was wonderful for sleeping altho I found you did have to leave the bedroom doors open a bit to get the cold air in as the AC units were in the common space. No big deal but makes it difficult to sleep in if people are up early and making food. While we were concerned after reading other reviews, we did not encounter any of the shower drainage or peeling ceiling issues. The apartment seemed well kept and clean when we checked in. Overall it was a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again.

Only a few small things that the property could improve on. Firstly some instructions in English and/or other languages (or maybe the manual) for the washer/dryer combo would be helpful. We were also missing laundry detergent but the hosts were quick to respond and offered to drop it off. There is also a window between one of the bedrooms and the washroom which is a bit annoying at night if you have sleeping kids and need to use the washroom as it's very bright. Lastly there is only 1 key but we used the keypad lock to share the key. However the only way to lock the door from the inside is to use the key which is a bit annoying if someone has an earlier bedtime but others are still out - your options are then to either leave the key in the padlock and door unlocked and go to bed, or stay up to let others into the apartment. Not an issue if your group is always together but cumbersome if not.

The location was excellent and the air conditioning was the best in the heath wave during the week of June 21. Bedding sheets were clean and the appliances were all kind of new and working perfectly! Thank you so much to the team, they were very kind and responsive!

The drain of one of the showers was clogged. We were able to use it the last day of 3 of our stay. The beds didn’t have mattresses covers and you could see some stains. The queen mattress was awfully hard but it was worth it to use it because the air conditioning made our stay so pleasant!

Location was excellent. The noise level was very quiet. The space was adequate. The decor was good.

There was a leak in one bathroom. We reported this but it was never repaired. There were not enough coat hangers in the closet. Some lights in one bedroom did not work.
