Kotare Cottage, Spa Pool, Walk to Town

The location was excellent, it was reasonably clean and tidy. Off street parking. Lovely view. We felt comfortable.

Disappointed that 3 people couldn't have a quick shower without running out of water with a huge hot water tank. Am not sure if there had been new lino laid but there was a strong plastic smell throughout. The front bedroom had a very hard uncomfortable mattress. Am not sure how much chlorine was in the spa as we are still trying to wash it out of our bathers. Put something in the shower so you have somewhere to put your products. The outdoor sensor light needs adjusting so as when you get out of the car it turns on so you can see your way through the gate not turn on at the door.

This is a beautiful little property. It was lovely sitting outside on the deck. The view in the distance of water and the hills is stunning.

Unfortunately the ranch door leading to the deck is a height hazard if you are tall, as my husband and I are. There should be a caution sticker. There are no railings on the decking and this is also a hazard and easily rectified. Lastly there is no shower caddy, meaning you have to lean down to the floor of the shower to access shower gel etc. Again easily rectified. If these 3 things were fixed, this would be a perfect property in Raglan.

Lovely little cottage with everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, great views, clean, fresh and welcoming. The spa pool was also super. Everything is tasteful and fresh, in a way that makes you feel at home. Would have loved to stay longer!

Location to town and comfortable beds. hot tub was lovely!

Sharing the bathroom with another couple was a little awkward. But we coped. Outdoor furniture was a little dirty so we needed to clean it before using it.
