Moroccan Pearl Luray VA

Really liked that it was close to everything that we had planned for our vacation. The caverns, Shenandoah, the zoo and even the parks. The owner was very attentive of our needs and checked in to make sure we didn't need anything. Home is stocked with everything you need aside from laundry detergent. It was convenient for us to buy a few groceries and be able to cook while we were there. The games/toys that are there was a hit with my 6 y/o as they kept her occupied in the evening while we settled in.

Honestly everything was great. My only suggestion would be for thicker curtains or blinds be hung in the windows that have sheer ones. We wanted a bit of privacy while we were in and the dining room and family room didn't allow for much of that as you could see out/in from the street. We had a few issues with the lock the last 2 days we were there but the owner was quick to get us back in and offered a credit for the inconvenience.

We stayed at the Moroccan Pearl over the Memorial Day weekend. The neighborhood was quiet, not much traffic, very close to the town center and only a short drive to the Shenandoah Park entrance. The house is very spacious and offers plenty of space for a family of four/five. We spent some time indoors since it rained, however the boardgames and toys kept everyone busy and made it a fun stay. The place was very clean and offered all amenities. The host offered coffee, hot cocoa and tea. The kitchen is fully equipped. The beds were really comfortable and linens fresh. Towels and soap were provided. We appreciated the displays of Moroccan art and crafts, and the decorations throughout the house. Overall, we had a great stay and we highly recommend it.

Wish it was more private, thought there was a fence all the way around but the neighbors can see you in the backyard. Only 1 small TV, had to play rain sounds in my phone in the bedroom. The traditional clothing on the wall is nice but could be better placed. It scared me the first night I used the bathroom in the middle of the night.
