Fantastisch appartement midden in de stad.

De incheck procedure is heel lastig met codes. Als je binnen staat zie je nergens staan waar je heen moet het is een groot gebouw. Na een half uur zoeken was het gelukt.

You won't beat the location of this place. Literally just off the main mall of Reims. Train station and tram line close (5 mins walk), more shops, cafes and restaurants then you could possibly get to even if you were staying 3 weeks. A/c works a treat, much needed in the hot France summers. Good kitchen facilities, and plenty of cutlery/crockery and other amenities. Hosts were responsive, but you will need Google translates help if you don't speak French (which is fine given you are in France).

The property does not have a lift, but is on the first floor. Might be a problem for older people with big bags, was not for us. There is no washing machine, and there is not a laundry facility on premises and the nearest one is 10 minutes walk. Maybe not a problem for someone doing a 3 day visit coming from UK/Europe, but long haul from Australia, this was a hassle for us. There is also not an iron or ironing board. Lounge could do with an extra couch. Front door is also difficult as you will need to memorise a 10 digit code to lock/unlock it (or have your phone handy to look it up).

We enjoyed our stay overall. The central location made it very convenient to get around, while the apartment’s stylish design, effective air conditioning, and well-equipped kitchen were all positives.

However, there were several issues during our stay. There was no hand soap provided, and only two small sachets of shampoo/body wash were available for the room. The mattresses were also very soft. There were also a number of maintenance and practical issues. The shower was broken, one of the lamps was not working, and the toilet lock did not work. The kitchen had no extractor fan, and there was no iron or ironing board provided. The key fob was also missing, which made getting into the property difficult and inconvenient. An extra armchair would also have been useful, as there was limited comfortable seating.
