The location Kitchen facilities

It was advertised to be a 4 bed property- it was 2 beds and 1 mattress on the floor of an office room Not as advertised and not suitable for many people especially us. It said 2 bathrooms It was 1 plus a toilet on the ground floor Not as advertised The 2 bedrooms were split - 1 in the basement and 1 upstairs We moved the cushions on the couch to see if it was a sofa bed - it was not but there were peanuts left under the couch cushions. This is the image The front door screen closer is broken and the screen door slams shut - so watch your fingers

Nice apartment, nice area but the single full bathroom is a killer if traveling with three or more.

Location. You can park on a side street instead of Harlem Ave which is a very busy street. Very nice neighborhood with a park just a half block away.

The description says it's a two bath apartment but it is a bath and a half. The full bath is located on the second floor and the half bath is on the ground floor. The second bedroom is in the basement. With three adults, it got hectic trying to use the one bathroom to get ready. Had to allow for more time in the morning. Plus if you sleep downstairs, it's a long walk to the bathroom on the ground floor.

Beautiful place to stay in a great location. Highly recommend for a short stay in/near Chicago.

The location was in a very upscale, safe, and nice neighborhood. The amenities were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and had their own rooms. The house and interior were beautiful.

The house was hot when we arrived due to the thermostat being set high but it was able to get cool after a while. All of the floors also creak loudly which can disturb people sleeping.

We locked the back screen door for extra safety and then could not get it unlocked. The bolt would not budge. We eventually had to go around outside with the key while one person wriggled the lock on the inside until it finally opened.

Quiet and comfortable place to stay!

As a solo traveler - and woman - I felt safe in the neighborhood and in the home. I slept in the upstairs bed and it was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The value for the location and the space was unbeatable!!!

I wish there had been more small amenities like coffee, bottled water, and a towelette/cloth specifically for makeup removal. I was too scared to wash my face with the cloths provided because I didn’t want to ruin them with my makeup and risk a charge. I just know several hotels and AirBnBs provide these for this reason so this is more of a suggestion than a complaint! This may be just a me thing, but I also didn’t feel comfortable using any of the appliances because part of it felt like I was invading someone’s home instead of being a welcomed guest. A welcome note with instructions would be nice for explaining the location of items and check out procedures—though if you text the host you do get an immediate response! Overall these are super minor things.

Au Calme à proximité du centre de Chicago

Maison bien située dans jolie zone pavillonnaire très calme. Spacieuse, fonctionnelle, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. On peut rejoindre le centre de Chicago en 52 mn (métro à 27 mn à pied ou 10 minutes de bus - arrêt de bus juste devant la maison Nombreux Commerces à proximité.
