Nice stay except showering

The location is walking distance to many things especially the central station . It was clean with lovely furniture. The rooms are of good size just one room was a little tight from one side of the bed. The mattress is comfortable but pillows are too low & soft for me. The bathroom is clean & specious & has everything you need. The kitchen has all you need.

The water temperature in the shower & bath was really annoying as it kept jumping from cold to burning hot & the opposite making it really uncomfortable to have a shower.

Well-appointed and secure apartment up three flights in questionable neighborhood.

Felt very safe behind gate and two additional keypad doors. Beautiful apartment with small but functional kitchen, comfy beds, great water pressure and nice living area.

Didn’t like the heavy pneumatic-close doors to every room. They had to be propped open with rubber wedges. Heard from a Lush store employee, a bartender and Uber driver that Union St was very rough. Saw a couple of drug deals on the street but never felt unsafe. Didn’t go out after dark. Note that there is one long flight of stairs and then two more shorter flights. In Europe, there is Ground Floor, then Floor 1, then Floor 2. So an apt. being “on the second floor” means it is actually on what would be considered the third floor if you are from the US.

Lovely flat, very comfortable beds and good facilities. Great communication too.

Not the flat's fault but probably necessary to know that Union Street is a bit 'tasty', can feel like you're running the gauntlet. Great security and gate system though.

The apartment is on the second floor there are quite a few stairs and no lift. I have asthma and found it tricky. But this is clearly stated in the advert.

Secured and quiet central flat

Brilliant central location yet very quiet inside. Very well furnished, generally very comfortable Big living room space with big sofas

Nothing really, just for information: Firedoor regulations in Scotland make it so that all doors are heavy fire doors. I mean HEAVY. better not catch your toe in the bathroom door. The flat is on the second floor with no lift. Ceilings are high so it is a long climb

Another great stay to end our trip to Scotland

First and most important in booking accommodations is the hosts and communication. I can't say enough how great the communication was. "Vik" (?) was upfront, helpful, and accommodating. Above and beyond in helping us out and understanding the need to look out for family. The apartment itself was amazingly well done and very nicely kept up... 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one ensuite), kitchen, family room. Each bedroom and family have a TV with great reception and great Wifi. Nice features that a hotel does not provide... full size kitchen/refrigerator, combo washer/dryer, dishwasher. Very good location for shopping and eating as Buchanan Street is a short two block walk. The Glasgow Central (trains south and west) train station is directly across Union Street. The Glasgow Queen Street (trains north and east) train station is a 10 minute walk. Similar for the Buchanan Bus station and Hop on Hop Off bus tour stop. As a couple we would assuredly use this apartment again.

Due to my poor research it was not an appropriate accommodation when traveling with a mobility limited Mom. There are (3) flights of stairs (50+ steps, fairly steep) to the first level of apartments (#3, #4). There is no lift. More steps if you are on the higher levels. Not really an issue for younger folks unless you have multiple or heavy bags. The only other "bother" were the heavy self-closing doors throughout. Providing door stops would be nice to keep the kitchen/family room area door open. If possible for the window would be screens. Since there is no AC in most Scottish hotels, leaving the windows open to cool off the room was a necessity... but, it allows some flying bugs in too... although it was minimal.

Comfortabel compleet alles was aanwezig ook kleine dingen zoals afwasblokjes wasmachine strijkijzer . Etc de locatie was geweldig midden in het centrum . Geen geluidsoverlast.

We zijn 70+. We hadden zware koffers en er was geen lift. We verbleven op de tweede verdieping dus dat was bijna niet doen.
