Tonight Homestay Jing'an Temple Branch Shanghai

This place is absolutely perfect for staying in! It’s fully equipped—from the bedroom and living room to the kitchen—making it an ideal choice for living alone.

It would be even better if the towels could be changed every day.

We stayed with Tonight Homestay during Typhoon Dolphin and although the property we booked was impacted by the weather with some slight flooding, the company quickly moved us to another unit. They did everything they could throughout the whole week to make sure we were comfortable and safe. They went above and beyond and we are truly thankful!! All the apartments we stayed in with them were very comfortable and clean and we would definitely recommend staying with them!

Some apartments could use an extra pot or pan and utensils for cooking

The nicest hosts who communicated well and attended to all our requests

Nothing really

Great location. The host was very helpful and responsive on WhatsApp. Having a washing machine was handy. Bed linen and towels were very clean. Quiet at night time.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment in Jing’an, so this review relates to that apartment only, not the others that are also included on the same listing, as I think they may all be different (which was confusing when reading previous reviews). The kitchen was not equipped for a family - there was only 1 fork and 3 plates and very small. However, the host provided new cutlery after we enquired. Cleanliness could have been improved - many surfaces and floors were dusty and the fridge needed a clean too. The host arranged extra cleaning for us after our arrival but could still benefit from a deep clean. Some bath mats and tea towels would have been useful too.
