Harzhaus Altenau
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the building; the back door leads directly into the garden (ideal for dog owners). Unfortunately, as is typical for buildings of this era, the stairwell is somewhat narrow, at about 65 cm
Following extensive renovations, the apartment offers plenty of comfort and coziness.
The mountain town of Altenau in the Upper Harz region offers plenty of recreational opportunities in both summer and winter. Hiking and biking trails start right at the house, and you can cool off at the Okerteiche outdoor forest pool.
In winter, the cross-country ski trail is right behind the house, and there’s nothing standing in the way of tobogganing fun here, either. For relaxation, the Kristalltherme spa is available, or you can make yourself comfortable at home in front of the fireplace.
There are also many sports and culinary options in the immediate vicinity, such as in Torfhaus.
