About this house rental
Summary:
This chic 2-level, 3BR2.5BA upper unit features TWO DRIVEWAY PARKING SPACES FOR FREE, sunny bedrooms, comfy furniture, 2 TVs, full kitchen and a large back deck and patio for entertaining! The home has been fully renovated with a gourmet kitchen upstairs, plus queen beds everywhere, and a nice yard. Combine with lower unit to sleep up to 16 with two full kitchens too (separate unit listing). Note there is an exterior camera on the doorbell, and to get two cars in the rear parking area you will need to park carefully and may need to move trash cans.
The Space:
Upstairs are three large bedrooms including. a primary suite with its own en-suite bathroom. On the main level are two enormous couches, 55" smart TV, dining seating for at least 8, and a kitchen with all the bells and whistles. There is also a back deck with seating for at least 6.
Guest Access:
You'll have easy access to the property 24/7 through our electronic lock, which generates a unique code for each guest that automatically expires upon their departure and won't work before their arrival.
The Neighborhood:
You'll love the Petworth North neighborhood, which was one of the first "suburbs" of Washington, DC. You'll be able to get to the Pentagon (9 mi), Bethesda (5 mi), Georgetown (7 mi), Cleveland Park, Capitol Hill (5 mi), U Street (3mi), downtown DC or Silver Spring easily in just minutes whether you take public transport, private car-share or drive yourself. You can also walk to the Ft. Totten Metro in 10 minutes or take the local bus line which is one 1/2 block away.
This home is located a short drive to Howard University, Catholic University, Washington Hospital Center, the VA hospital, and the Children's Hospital.
There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and hundreds of others are available in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia Regions.
Getting Around:
There are lots of bus routes nearby, and parking is easy here and you can also use Uber or Lyft to cheaply and easily get around. You can walk to the Ft. Totten Metro in about 10 minutes.

We were very pleased with the property and the way the kitchen was stocked. Everything we needed was there - and some. The only reason for the 4 in the check-in process was because we could not tell the house number from the back of the property where we came in. A walk around the front fixed that but would have helped to have a number in back. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone booking in the area.
